yourFridays are honestly my favorite because I just really love showing off amazing covers. For this week, I’m featuring the utterly breathtaking cover for Your One and Only by Adrianne Finlay. I don’t know what it is about this one that just captured my attention immediately, but this is unquestionably one of the most interesting and fascinating covers I’ve ever seen. Ironically, I’m not even a huge candy fan. But I think there’s just something about the way the hard shell of the candy has cracked that puts a beautiful edginess to the cover itself. I feel like it already foreshadows a very emotional and perhaps dark book to come. And when a book cover does a good job of cluing readers into potential moments in the book, I’m impressed.

I don’t know if it’s true, of course, so I’ll have to read the book to find out!

I’m not sure who the cover artist for this book is. I wish that it were easier to find them since pouring over pages of the google search has only worked well for me once so far. If anyone does know who created this gorgeous book cover, let me know so I can mention them!

As for dislikes, my only complaint about this cover is the text of the title. I think it looks rather plain and I’m not sure how fond I am of its placement. Ironically, I adore the name placement and text as well as the short sentence on the bottom heart. I’m truly excited to see where this book goes and would love to have that cover sitting on my shelf because it is honestly just so pretty.

Happy reading to you all and don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comments!
